The reefs begin close to the surface, making their colour and movement visible to snorkelers without scuba equipment. Depending on the day, you may explore coral gardens, watch schools of reef fish move through the shallows and, with luck, encounter a turtle. Wildlife is never guaranteed, but every stop offers a new part of the archipelago to discover.
The islands are equally important above water. Forested slopes frame calm bays, local longtail boats connect the different areas and Mai Ngam beach offers time to swim or simply take in the surroundings. A respectful Moken village visit may also form part of the route when conditions and local permissions allow.

Mu Ko Surin National Park is a five-island archipelago of forested shores, pale beaches and shallow coral gardens. Routes change with wind, waves, visibility and park instructions, which is why the bays listed in each itinerary are alternatives rather than promises.
Overnight guests experience another side of Surin: the beach after day visitors leave, an island dinner, a quiet morning and—on the three-day trip—a full day exploring by local longtail boat. Wildlife such as turtles may be encountered, but sightings are never guaranteed.

Follow your guide and park staff, wear a life jacket where required, and never stand on, touch, chase or feed marine life. Single-use plastic and foam are restricted in the park, drones are not permitted, and reef-safe sun protection helps reduce your impact. Village visits depend on local permissions and should be approached as a respectful cultural exchange—not a staged attraction.

What do the Surin trips cost?
The day trip is 3,200 THB per adult and 2,300 THB per child. The 2D/1N trip is 6,300 THB per adult and 4,300 THB per child. The 3D/2N trip is 7,700 THB per adult and 5,300 THB per child.
What accommodation is included on a Surin Island overnight trip?
National park tent accommodation is included. A bungalow costs an additional 2,000 THB per night for 2 people or 3,000 THB per night for 4 people, subject to availability.
Are these scuba diving trips?

When can I visit the Surin Islands?
The published park season is normally 15 October to 15 May, with closure from 16 May to 14 October. Dates and access remain subject to current national park announcements and sea conditions.
Are turtles guaranteed?
No. Turtles and other wildlife may be seen, but nature never guarantees a sighting. Guides choose snorkeling areas for the day's safety and conditions.
Can children join?
Child pricing covers eligible guests aged 4–11, while the programs list a minimum participation age of 6. Contact us with each child's age and water confidence so we can confirm suitability.
Is the itinerary fixed?
Times and named bays are a practical guide, not a guarantee. Weather, sea conditions, park instructions and local permissions may require the guide to adjust the route.
