For Anyone Who Wants to See the Reef Properly

You do not need to be a diver to experience Andaman Sea. The Snorkel Diver course is for anyone who wants to get more out of the surface and understand what they are looking at.

Experience the Reef Without Scuba

Partners and family members who are not ready for scuba can still have a real encounter with the underwater world. Andaman Sea has exceptional shallow reef life visible from the surface. Manta rays, turtles and reef sharks often come within metres of snorkellers.

From 8 Years Old

Younger guests who are not yet old enough for Try Scuba or who are not quite ready for breathing underwater. The Snorkel Diver course gives them a proper introduction to the ocean that builds real confidence in the water.

A Natural First Step

Many people start with snorkelling before deciding they want to go deeper. The Snorkel Diver course gives you a relaxed, low-pressure introduction to the underwater environment. If it leads to a Try Scuba or Open Water course later in your stay, all the better.

Thailand Is One of the World's Best Snorkel Destinations

Khao Lak sits in the middle of the Andaman Sea, surrounded by some of the best shallow reef in Thailand. The house reef drops into clear blue water right off the beach. Visibility is typically excellent. Water temperature stays between 28 and 30 degrees year-round. Manta rays pass through the offshore channels regularly. Whale sharks are spotted from the surface. Hawksbill turtles feed on the shallow reef daily. You do not need scuba equipment to encounter extraordinary marine life here.

Snorkelling Often Leads to Scuba

Once you have seen how much life is right below the surface, the natural next question is what it looks like from inside the reef rather than above it. If that happens, we are right here. ATry Scubasession takes a couple of hours. A fullOpen Water Divercertification takes three to four days. Both can be added to your schedule any time during your stay in Khao Lak.

Tell us your dates and we will get you in the water.

Snorkel Diver sessions run most days and can be combined with a guided snorkel trip to nearby sites in the Andaman Sea. Send us a message with your arrival date and we will put together a plan.
